More big news for fans of hit kids ABC TV series Bluey this week with the reveal of three book titles coming out in November.
The first release includes two board books based on two popular episodes - 'Fruit Bat' and 'The Beach' - and a 'Time to Party' sticker activity book.
'The Beach' features lift-the-flap interactivity and 'Fruit Bat' has the addition of glow-in-the-dark print for extra interest during night time reading.
The activity book has 50 stickers and activities for your child to complete.
Bluey has been an overnight phenomenon in children's television, snatching the number one spot for most-watched show on ABC's iView with more than 90 million plays since it premiered in in October 2018.
The beloved series follows a six-year-old cattle dog called Bluey who lives with her dad Bandit (an archaeologist), mum Chilli (who works at the airport) and four-year-old sister, Bingo. It's quintessentially Aussie, complete with accents, fart jokes and backyard BBQs.
Hot on the heels of the news that Moose Toys has partnered with the show to produce a toy line and that Disney has picked up show internationally, now we know the plans for Bluey don't stop there. Penguin Random House Australia has hinted in a press release that, "Looking ahead to 2020, the Bluey publishing program will expand to other exciting formats."
We're thrilled the Bluey phenomenon is here to stay, with toys and books to fill up that space under the Christmas tree this year.
So pop the Bluey books on your child's must-have Christmas list and snap them up as soon as they arrive in stores on November 5.
