It's a moment Danish mum Christine A.J Friis Rosenhøj will never forget – her four-month-old son has just received glasses and now, for the first time, he can see her clearly.

Baby Emil looks startled at first, but when he looks up and sees the face of his mother his face lights up and he beams with happiness.

Christine was able to capture the amazing moment on camera. Sharing the video on Instagram she captioned:  "Today is a great day. Emil got his glasses. The journey has been long and our little baby had to go through a lot to sit here and smile with his small glasses, but now they're here." (Translated from Danish).

Emil was born with extreme far-sightedness, and needed glasses with a +7 prescription strength in order to correct it.

The adorable video was posted on February 13 and has already been viewed more than 22,000 times. With such a high cuteness factor it isn't surprising that the viral video has won hearts around the globe.

But despite this, Christine says that Emil isn't letting his newfound fame to his head. "I do not believe that Emil is aware of it. He is accustomed to visits, so he takes it all very quietly. He is not the mark of his new fame," she told TV East.

Since first trying on the glasses Emil seems to be enjoying life with clear vision. Christine's Instagram shows a little boy looking very happy and super cute in his specs.
